Tommy Joe “BigMac”McCullor, 70, of Lumberton, died Thursday, March 27, 2014. A graveside service was held Saturday, March 29 at Antioch Cemetery in Buna under the direction of Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton. A native of Converse, Louisiana, he was a United States Air Force Vietnam veteran and was the recipient of numerous awards. He was the crew chief of the C.103 airplane that escorted Bob Hope on one of his USO tours. He was a member of the VFWfor 40 plus years. Survivors include his wife, Patricia McCullor of Lumberton; daughter, Tanya McCullor of Vidor; stepsons, Reggie Peet of Vidor, Randy Peet of Vidor and Anthony Elizondo of China; stepdaughter, MistyStrickland of Lumberton; sister, LilyWalters of Warren; and four grandchildren.
