Relay for Life scheduled for April

Kountze High School will be host to the event.

By Daniel Elizondo, Editor

The Hardin/South Jasper County Relay For Life is hosting its annual event on April 24 at Kountze High School stadium.

Teams are currently forming, and the organization is seeking more teams, as well as survivors and caregivers to join Relay For Life.

At Relay For Life events, communities across the globe come together to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.

The funds raised help fight against cancer, and help honor the nearly 14 million cancer survivors who will celebrate another birthday this year.

Relay For Life teams camp out overnight and take turns walking or running around a track or path at a local high school, park, or fairground.
