David Boudreaux

David Lloyd Boudreaux, 56, of Lumberton, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at his home. Funeral service was Saturday, May 9 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. A native of Beaumont and an longtime resident of Lumberton, he worked at Dragon Products in Silsbee as a truck driver. Survivors include his sons, Nick Boudreaux and wife Danielle of Lumberton and Zach Boudreaux of LaMarque; longtime girlfriend Bonnie Puckett; sisters, Lisa Boudreaux and Sue Mireles and husband Greg, all of Lumberton, Roby Boudreaux of Beaumont, Jennifer Rice and husband Joe of Lumberton and two grandchildren.

Glenda Gray

Glenda Glenn Gray of Silsbee, passed away Tuesday, May, 12, 2015. Funeral services for Glenda Glenn Gray will be at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Silsbee on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be at Farmer’s Funeral Home Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 5-8 pm. Glenda was a native of Clute, Texas and a longtime resident of Silsbee, Texas. She was a beloved school teacher of 43 years at Evadale ISD and retired three years ago. She considered all of her students as her “kids” and she was very proud to have a chance meeting with each and every one. She was honored to be a part of their lives. She celebrated with and for them and she
mourned with and for them. Her world revolved around her family and her family revolved around her. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by: Daughter, Wendy Gray and parentsMorris andMabel Glenn.

Gerald Lynn Potts II, 21, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015. A graveside service was Saturday, May 9 at Knupple Cemetery in Silsbee under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee. Survivors include his father, Gerald Potts and wife Elaine of Silsbee; brother, Harvey Potts of Liberty; and grandfather, William Wages of Liberty.

Marie McLaughlin

Marie McLaughlin, age 94, passed away on May 5, 2015. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home, Silsbee, Texas. Visitation was 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday May 9, 2015. Funeral services was lead by Chaplain Wayne Monk at Farmer Funeral Home on Saturday at 2:00 pm May 9, 2015 with burial following at Knupple Cemetery, Silsbee, Texas. Marie was a Christian, a good and faithful servant of the Lord. At an early age she was a member of Woodrow Baptist Church which was cofounded by her grandfather William Benton Harris. She then became a member of Silsbee’s First Baptist Church for over 70 years. She was a descendent of early settlers of Hardin County and Southeast Texas. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Will and JoElla Harris, Ike and Belle Gore; parents Odelia Harris and H.L. (Bud) Harris; her husband of 51 years, George E. McLaughlin; grandson Steve Hollyfield; and great grandson Reece Andrew Hollyfield.

Ricky Willis

Funeral service for Ricky Wayne Willis, 65, of Silsbee was at 2:00 p.m. Sunday May 3, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday April 2, 2015 at the funeral home. Mr. Willis was a native of Waco and a longtime resident of Hardin County. He was retired from Meadwestvaco where he worked as a supervisor. Ricky is preceded in death by his parents, Leon Pete Willis and Nita Perkins Willis; daughter, Keisha Willis; brother, Steven Grimes; and sister, Tracie Grimes. Survivors include son, Kevin Willis of Silsbee; brother, Allen Willis and wife Dell of Lumberton; and granddaughter, Baily Willis.

Harold Woods Jr.

Harold A. “Jughead” Woods Jr., 77, of Honey Island, died Sunday,May 3, 2015 in Beaumont. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6 p.m. today (Wednesday,May 6) at Broussard’s Mortuary in Nederland. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary. Anative of Woodville and a longtime resident of the area, he was a retired park ranger with the Department of Parks and Wildlife and he was also retired from the Texas Department of Transportation. Survivors include daughter, Robin Woods of Nederland; sons, Clint Woods and wife Connie of LaBelle, Terry Woods and wife Shelly of Groves and Scott Woods and wife Paula of Warren; sisters, Sandra McKee and Carolyn Handley, both of Nederland; and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Deryl Kelley, Greg Kelley, Clara Kelley, and Britt Kelley and his wife Ashley, all of Lumberton; brothers, Charlie Johnston and wife Connie of Angleton and Bob Johnston of Batesville, Arkansas; sisters, Dessie McBride of Kingwood and Nell Brock of Baytown; and two grandchildren.

Armando Garza

Armando Jose Garza, 62, of Silsbee, died Thursday, April 30, 2015. Funeral was Monday, May 4 at New Beginnings Assembly of God Church in Evadale with burial following in Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee. Born in McKinney, he was a United States Army Vietnam era veteran and was also in the Army Reserves. He had worked as a security guard with Securitas. Survivors include his children, Esteven Solis and wife Josette of Amarillo, Daniel “Chico” Garza of Austin, Eliseo Garza and wife Sonya of Stinnett, and Joshiabeth Garza of Silsbee, Ashley Galvan and husband Joseph of Temple and Joshua Mettlen and wife Ashley of Silsbee; sister, Julia Guzman of Canyon; and six grandchildren.
