“Millie” Stanley

Mildred Marie “Millie” Stanley, 79, of Honey Island, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014. A graveside service was held Saturday, Sept. 20 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Kountze. A native of Marshall, Virginia, she was a retired caregiver and longtime member of Big Thicket Baptist Church. Survivors include her grandchildren, Tonia Parrish and husband Chris of Honey Island, Jessie Wilburn and wife Shannon of Kountze, Charles MitchellWilburn and wife Susan Garcia of Beaumont; 12 great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert “Bob” Furr of Marshall, Virginia.

Dorothy Lambright

Dorothy Lou Lambright, 82, of Silsbee, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2014 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral service was Monday, Sept. 22 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following in Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger. A native of Oakdale, Louisiana and a longtime resident of Silsbee, she was a retired cook. Survivors include son, Curtis Lambright of Monterey, Louisiana; daughters, Joyce Starnes of Lumberton and Brenda Dill of Webster; and 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Maxine Dubose

Maxine Dubose, 79, of Silsbee, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston. Funeral service was at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 24) at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial in Cunningham Cemetery, also in Silsbee. She was a native and lifelong resident of Silsbee. Survivors include her son, Charles Williams of Silsbee; brothers, Harold Kirkendall and B.L. Kirkendall, both of Silsbee; sisters, PatsyArd and LouiseWatts, both of Silsbee; and seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Bobby Mitchell

Bobby Gene Mitchell, 83, ofVidor, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2014. Funeral service was Monday, Sept. 22 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Kountze with burial following in Holland Cemetery, also in Kountze. A native of Sedalia, Missouri, he retired from STI Group as a fabrication foreman. He was also a United StatesMaries Korean Conflict veteran. Survivors include his wife, Betty Mitchell; sons, Larry Dale Mitchell and Michael Lee Mitchell, both of Lumberton; daughters, Donna Lynn Parker of Vidor, Deborah Kay LeBoeuf of Lumberton and Marie Rogers and husband Robert of Vidor; and 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Nathan Harves

Nathan Daniel Harves, 21, of Lumberton, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014. A native of Irving, he graduated from Lumberton High School and was in the electrical apprentice program at Miller Electric. A memorial service was Saturday, Sept. 20 at Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Lumberton. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, Sept. 27 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Okarche, Oklahoma. His cremation was held at Broussard’s Crematorium in Beaumont. Survivors include his parents, Michael Harves and Janet Rempe Harves of Lumberton; brother, Justin Harves of Arlington; sisters, Emily Harves and Ashley Harves, both of Lumberton; special ladies in Nathan’ life, Shelly Moore and her daughterAbbie of Kountze; and grandmother, Lucille Rempe of Kingfisher, Oklahoma.
