Donald Grisham

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Donald Lewis Grisham, 66, of Silsbee were from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday February 28, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home. Mr. Grisham was a native of Orange and a longtime resident of Silsbee. Donald was a retired truck driver and had a great love for life. Donald is preceded in death by his parents,Walter and Inez Grisham Sr.; brother, Dale Grisham; and sister, Wanda Upshaw. Survivors include son, Matt 
Grisham of Stafford, VA; brothers, Ronald and Jerry Grisham, both of Silsbee; sisters, Linda O’Dell of Silsbee and Pat Logan of Orange; grandchildren Caitlyn Grisham, Alanna Grisham and Brycen Grisham. Donald will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Tom Bell

Tom Bell, 97, of Spurger, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Funeral service was Saturday, February 28 at Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Silsbee with burial following in Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger under the direction of Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton. He was a United States Army World War II veteran and was an auto mechanic. Survivors include his sons, Thomas Bell and wife Teresa of Spurger, Dan Bell and wife Linda of Lumberton, Russ Bell and wife Lois of Katy, and Barry Bell and wife Barbara of Silsbee; daughter, Cherry Bingham and husband Bill of Katy; brother, Reverend R.P. Bell of Lumberton; sister, JimmieWood of Porter; and 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Charles Colton

Charles L. “Buddy” Colton, 79, of Kountze, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Funeral service was Thursday, February 26 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Kountze with burial following in Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Wilma Sue Colton; sons, Mike Colton and wife Felecia, David Colton and wife Janine and Paul Colton and wife Penny; daughter, Suzanne Prine and husband Ernest; brother, Woodrow Colton and wife Myrle; and 11  grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Bertie Hooks

A graveside service for BertieMae “Sally” Hooks, 91, of Silsbee was at 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 28, 2015 at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze. Mrs. Hooks passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Silsbee Convalescent Center. 
She was a native of Polk County, a longtime resident of Silsbee, and a former resident of Point Blank. Mrs. Hooks is preceded in death by parents,Andrew Lee and Eugenia Beathard Hilton; husbands, F.A. Wheeler and Floyd Hooks; and three grandchildren. Survivors include sons, Dennis Wheeler and wife Judy of Lumberton and Sammy Wheeler and wife Barbara of Silsbee; daughters, Jean Watts, Joann Leger, Paula Granger and Susan Read and husband Jim, all of Kountze; sister, Ada Vee Cleveland of Trinty; twelve grandchildren, fourteen greatgrandchildren, and twelve great-great grandchildren.

Ella Vee Revia Credeur, 88, of Lumberton, died Sunday, March 1, 2015. Funeral service was at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, March 4) at Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton with burial following in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Arvel Bloomfield

Arvel Bloomfield was born February 8, 1920 in Saratoga, Texas and passed away February 27, 2015 at Beaumont Baptist Hospital. He was a former resident of Carlisle, Texas and had lived in Buna the past eleven years. Arvel was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army. He retired from Mobil Oil Refinery. He is preceeded in death by his parents, Fred and Ila Bloomfield; step daughter, Billie Musgrove; and brother Donald Ray Bloomfield. Survivors include his wife

Maria Bebon, 81, of Lumberton,  died Monday, February 23, 2015. Funeral service was Saturday, February 28 at Grace Church in Kountze under the direction of Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton. Elizabeth Horace

Elizabeth Williams Horace, 90, of Groveton, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at her home. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 7 at the Groveton High School Auditorium in Groveton with burial following in Lacy, Texas under the direction Donald E. Coleman Funeral Home in Kountze. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Faith Temple Evangelistic Center in Corrigan. E.W. “Buck” Buckley

E.W. “Buck” Buckley, 89, died Tuesday, Feb. 10 at Silsbee Convalescent Center. A graveside service was held Friday, Feb. 13 at Davis Cemetery in Colmesneil. A native of Silsbee, he served in the United States Navy as a member of theAviation Unit Black Cat Squadron. His mechanical skills landed him on a VP 52 that conducted antishipping patrols at night in New Guinea. He worked in the oilfield for many years for  Cormier Well Service. The
last 20 years he served as superintendent for Santa Fe International Drilling Co.,  working overseas in Africa, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Baharain. He retired in 1986 and moved to the community of Plum Ridge on Sandy Creek,
Lake Sam Rayburn. Survivors include sons, Jerry Buckley and wife Sheila of PortAransas, Kyle Buckley of Plum Ridge and Richard King of Navasota; daughters, Carole Favro and husband Terry of Nacogdoches and Jan
