Franklin “Butch” Reeves Fielder

Franklin 'Butch' Reeves Fielder, 58, died in Graham, TX onMay 18, 2014. He was born February 19, 1956 and was a lifelong resident of Silsbee. He resided at Toledo Bend at this time. He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Reeves Fielder; sons Joshua and Jerry Frank Fielder; daughter Ethel Aileen Mitchell and 'brother' and lifelong friend Marvin Segrest. Butch is survived by his wife Kelly Alford Fielder; mother Ruth Beckham Fielder; son Butch Allen Fielder; step-daughter Angie Nicole Clinard; brothers Douglas and David Fielder; sister Sharon Stark and seven grandchildren, Jackie, Josh, Jordan, Van, Kahli, Joseph and Sarah. He also leaves many, many friends behind. Butch never met a 'stranger' and if he called you "friend", it was for life! He loved to fish and was an avid outdoorsman. He also loved his wife, children, grandchildren and all his family. Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 12 noon at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Center.

Beverly J. Odom

Beverly J. Odom, 77, of Lumberton, died Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Concord, New Hampshire she had lived in Lumberton since 1974. She was a retired custodian with Lumberton High School. Survivors include her children, James R. Odom, Jr and his wife, Suzanne of Kountze; Donna McDonald and her husband, David, of Colorado; and NancyMiles and her husband, Jeff of Newton; sister, Linda Baker of Mesquite; eight grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, June 20, 2014, at Broussard's in Kountze.

Andrew David Kilcrease

Andrew David Kilcrease, 30, passed away June 9, 2014 at 5:30 PM at the ScottWhite Hospital in Temple, TX after an infection which resulted in septic shock. He was born June 24, 1983 to Susan Shine Kilcrease and Dennis Kilcrease in Beaumont, TX. “Andy” spent his early years in Silsbee. Andy was a ninth generation descendent of some of the earliest Anglo pioneers in SE Texas, dating back to the 1830’s. In 1992, at the age of 9, Andy’s family moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado. While in Colorado,Andy’s interests turned to hiking,mountain climbing, camping, jeeping with the family, and technology. His father, a Network Engineer, began to teach Andy computer technology, and by age 12 he built his own computer. His talent and love for technology would follow him through his life. About the same time, he began his life-long love of aquatics and fish.

Mildred Williamson

A graveside service for Mildred Louise Williamson, 83, of Silsbee was at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home, also in Silsbee. Mrs. Williamson passed away at her residence Thursday, June 5, 2014. She was a native and lifelong resident of Silsbee and worked as a grocery store clerk before retiring. Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, Van Wilbern and Mamie Ruth Gore Richardson; husband, Tom Felton Williamson; brothers, Herbert and Van Richardson; and sister, Betty Taylor. Survivors include son, Felton Williamson and wife Linda of Silsbee; daughters, Janet Freeman and husband Paul of Silsbee and Nancy Daws of Nederland; brother, Willie Richardson of Silsbee; sisters, JoAnn McGallion of Silsbee and Patsy Smith  of Buna; and grandchildren Paul, Jonathan,William, and Harrison Freeman, Tommy Williamson, Kristen and Heath Daws and numerous great grandchildren.

Mary Alice Scaife, 86, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Funeral service was Sunday, June 8 at The Gospel Center in Beaumont under the direction of Lumberton Family Funeral Home. Survivors include sons, Bobby Adkins and wife Annette of Woodville and Ronnie Adkins and wife Nina of Beaver Dam, Virginia; daughter, Kimberly Bricker and husband Frankie of Lumberton; and nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

James Seibert

James L. Seibert, 68, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Anative of Rome, Georgia, he was a U.S. Navy veteran and a retired typesetter for a printing company. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Seibert of Silsbee;mother, Clara Seibert of Shepherd; daughter, Jamie Cris of Spring; brothers, Terry Seibert, Michael Seibert and Kenny Seibert; sisters, Donna Schofield and Patricia Woodrom; and two grandchildren.

Leroy Burrows

Leroy Burrows, of Kountze, diedWednesday, June 4, 2014 at his home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14 at the Greater Mt. Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Kountze with burial following at Trinity Valley Cemetery under the direction of Donald Coleman Funeral Home, also in Kountze. Survivors include his daughter, Lavonda Shoulders of Silsbee; sisters, Pearlie Powell of Hillister and Lusktine Burrows of Kountze; and twin brother, Leo Burrows of Kountze.

Alline Baker

Alline Baker, 76, died Thursday, June 5, 2014. Funeral service was Tuesday, June 10 at Grace Church in Lumberton under the direction of Lumberton Family Funeral Home. Wayne Rigdon

Wayne Rigdon passed away June 7, 2014 at his residence in Silsbee. Mr. Rigdon was a native of Coushatta, Louisiana and a longtime resident of Silsbee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked as a steel fabricator for Stuart and Stevenson. Wayne is survived by his daughters, Becky Dean of Kirbyville andMary Catherine Gaddis of Beaumont; brothers, Eudean Murphy, Jerry Rigdon, Jackie Rigdon and Sam Rigdon; grandchildren, Heather Lowery, Chase Dunkleberger, Jackie Howard and Michael Hanley; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
