Phyllis Ann Pelt

Phyllis Ann Pelt, 65, of Beaumont, died Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A graveside service was Tuesday, March 24 at Village Mills Cemetery in Village Mills under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Kountze. Survivors include her husband, Gary Pelt; and brother, Wayne Riggs of Gary.

Mrs. Janet Gillentine

Mrs. Janet Gillentine, of Evadale, Texas died peacefully in her sleep at her home, Tuesday, March 24, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Earl Gillentine; sons, Aaron Gillentine of Vidor and  Jason Gillentine and wife Jenn
of Tyler; two grandchildren,Brent and Natalie Gillentine; and sister, Joyce Jones and husband Jimmy of Evadale. Very special friends wereMadelyn Sanders of Lumberton andMargaret Root of Silsbee. She is preceded in death by her parents,Valarin and Geraldine Gattis and granddaughter Tabitha Gillentine. Mrs. Gillentine was born August 22, 1948 and lived in Oakdale, Louisiana before moving to Evadale in 1959. She was an Evadale High

John Ross Fordinal

John Ross Fordinal, 65, of San Diego, California, and formerly of Silsbee, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015, in San Diego. He was born in Beaumont, Texas, on December 25, 1949, to John J. Fordinal, Jr. and Bobbie Jean Johnson Fordinal. A 1968 graduate of Silsbee High School, he resided most of his life in Silsbee before moving to Fort Worth and then San Diego. He is survived by one brother, David Fordinal of Sulphur Springs, and sisters Beverly Williams and husband Joe of Silsbee, Debra Lewis and husbandMarvin of Bastrop, Kristi Kratt of Kyle, and Brenda Braeuer and husband Keith of Grand Prairie, along with 7 nephews, 8 nieces, 4 great-nephews, 5
great-nieces, and a host of other relatives. Graveside service will be held on Friday,March 27, at 2 p.m. at R. S. FarmerMemorial    Cemetery in Silsbee with visitation at the gravesite from 1- 2 p.m.

Mary Carolyn Bond Rash, 66, of Lumberton, died Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral service was Monday, March 16 at Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Lumberton with burial following in Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, she worked at Sam’s Wholesale Club in Beaumont for several years as the Demo Coordinator and also at Sam’s in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Survivors include her husband, Dwight Rash of Lumberton; daughter, Stephanie Rawlinson and husband Todd of Fannett; and brother, Dale Bond and wife Peggy of Tomball.

Chuck Coy

Clair Lavern “Chuck” Coy, 85, of Kountze, died Monday, March 16, 2015 at his home. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 20 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Anative ofArlington, South Dakota, he retired from the United States Air Force and was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the Senior Citizens All Together (SCAT) Club. Survivors include sons, Dwight Coy of Oklahoma and Arthur Coy of Florida; daughters, Theresa Breaux of Kountze and Darcie Malone of Moore, Oklahoma; and 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Foye Johnston, 80, of Kountze, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Pine Arbor Heathcare Center in Silsbee. Funeral service was Friday, March 13 at Broussard’sMortuary in Kountze with burial following in Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze. A native of Apple Springs, he was a United States Army veteran and a retired roustabout. Survivors include her children, Kimberly Hemby and husband Steve and Joey Dee Whittington, both of Kountze; sister, Nelda Ellis of Lumberton; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
