Dollie Liddle

Dollie Alethia Liddle, 92, of Spurger, died Sunday, June 29, 2014 at her home. Funeral service was Wednesday, July 2 at Spurger United Methodist Church with burial following in Turner Branch Cemetery, also in Spurger under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. A native of Gulfport, Mississippi, she was a longtime resident of Spurger. Survivors include her daughters, Theresa Bernsen of Beaumont and Phyllis Liddle of Spurger.

Jerry Gregory

Funeral services for Jerry Dewayne Gregory, 60, of Beaumont, were at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in RS Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Gregory died June 26, 2014 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Silsbee, Jerry had lived in Beaumont 3 years. He earned a Master's degree from LSU in Baton Rouge and his civil engineering degree from the University of Oklahoma. He worked as a civil engineer for the State of Texas. Mr. Gregory is survived by his parents, Joe and Jackie Gregory of Beaumont; daughter, Leah Gregory of Lake Oswego, OR and brother Gary Joe Gregory of Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions in honor of Jerry be made to the American Cancer Society, 755 S 11th St, Ste 212, Beaumont TX 77701.

Nathan Haynes

Nathan Gary Haynes, 70, of Silsbee, died Saturday, June 28, 2014. Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, July 2) at Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee with burial following in Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze. He was a native of Kountze, graduate of Kountze High School and a lifetime resident of this area. He was owner of N&DMotors in Silsbee. “Nate the Great” loved the outdoors; whether on his tractor, in his flower and vegetable gardens, or on his jet ski at the lake. He was a compassionate, sincere man to both the people and animals he cherished. Survivors include is wife, Patricia “Pat” Haynes; daughters, Lesa Simmons and husband Mark of Silsbee and Rhonda Haynes of Bellville; stepson, Christopher Gilbert of Dallas; sisters, Laura Roach and Judy Moore, both of Kountze; brother, Dean Haynes of Kountze; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Lelia Maeiriah Crews, 71, of Beaumont, died Friday, June 27, 2014 at Oaks Nursing Home in Beaumont. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 5 at House of Prayer Church in Silsbee with burial following in Tetter Cemetery in Spring under the direction of J.B. Coleman Memorial Mortuary, also in Silsbee. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Anative of Humble, she was a housewife. Survivors include daughter, Christine Cartwright of Kountze; sons, Albert Haynes Jr. and wife Mary of Manteca, California, Carlton Haynes and wife Patrice of Temple, Terry Haynes and wife Debra of Silsbee andMichel Haynes and Eric Haynes, both of Kountze; brother, Braxton Crews and wife Charlene of Humble; and 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Anative of Fred, he was a lifelong resident of Tyler County and worked as a roughneck in the oilfield industry. Jeanette Jones

Funeral services for Jeanette Miguez Jones, 75, of Silsbee were at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Jones died June 23, 2014 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care. Born in Louisa, LA, she was a long time resident of Silsbee. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Jeanette was preceded in death by husband Vernon Jones, and daughter LetaWilkerson. Left to cherish her memories are her son, Thomas Jones of Fort Smith, AR; daughters, Karen Newsum Sweatt and husband Donnis of Lumberton and Janet Jones Stinson and husband Paul ofWarren; brother, CoralMigues of Franklin LA; sisters, Bea Ewing of New Iberia LA and Nancy Bove of Kenner LA; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Robert Rozell

Robert Dale Rozell, 77, of Lumberton, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 following a tractor accident occurring on June 9, 2014. Funeral service was Saturday, June 21 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton with burial following in Leatherwood Cemetery in Loeb. A native of Webb City, Oklahoma, he was employed for 30 years as a truck driver with Consolidated Freightways and was a member of Teamsters Local 820. Following retirement, he started a up a dump truck business. Survivors include his wife of 58 /12 years, Lovelle Rozell of Lumberton; daughter, Melissa Tweedel and husband Terry of Lumberton; son, Tim Rozell and wife Debbie of Sour Lake; brother, Paul Rozell and wife Laquita of Perry, Georgia; and six grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
