Alberta Hinskton

Alberta Jones Hinskton, 72, of Kountze, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 at her home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Greater Mount Corinth Baptist Church in Kountze under the direction of Robinson’s Funeral Home in Silsbee. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church. Survivors include her sisters, Lois Wright and Deloris Batiste, both of Kountze and Ruthie Jones and Ella Ruth Moore, both of Nacogdoches; and brother, James Edward Jones of Baytown.

Robert Sheffield

Robert Alan “Bob” Sheffield, 68, of Lumberton, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014. Funeral service was Friday, Oct. 24 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Beaumont with burial following in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, also in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, he was a roofing salesman and a United States Navy Reserve veteran. Survivors include his wife, Mary Kathryn Sheffield; daughters, Elizabeth Wenner and husband Jerry of Houston and Joni Grimmer and husband Tobin of Slidell, Louisiana; sons, Robert Sheffield Jr. and wife Michelle of DeRidder, Louisiana, James Sheffield and wife Mindi of Jena, Louisiana, Jason Easterwood and wife Christine of Fort Worth, Steve Easterwood and wife Tina of Grapevine and Richard Edgeworth and wife Joanna of Lumberton; and 23 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.

Harold Franklin McWilliams

Funeral services for Harold Franklin McWilliams, 88, of Silsbee were at 4:30 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home with a military and Masonic interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mr.McWilliams died October  14, 2014 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Mr. McWilliams was born in Monticello, MS and was a longtime resident of Silsbee. He was an industrial machinist for Temple Inland before retiring, a member of Silsbee Masonic Lodge and proudly served his nation during  WWII in the US Navy. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Frances Anne MillerMcWilliams of Silsbee:

G.A. Foster, 72, of Spurger, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 in Town Bluff. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 at  Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following in Fred Community Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A native of Caney Head, he was a longtime resident of Tyler County.  Survivors include brothers, Donald Foster of Buna, Gary Foster of Town Bluff and George Foster of Spurger; and sisters, Francis Howell of Huntsville and Geneva Crawford  of Town Bluff

Travis William Henderson

Travis William Henderson, 70, of Lumberton, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014. Anative of Silsbee, he was a United States Air Force veteran. Survivors include daughter, Melissa Henderson of Houston; son,Mike Henderson and 
wife Laura of Lumberton; brother, Bobby Henderson and wife Sue of Kountze; sister, Debbie Gordon and husband Larry Joe of Spurger; and six grandchildren. His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium in Beaumont.

Mary Jayne Meriwether, 72 left us for a joyful reunion with the Lord, Jesus Christ on September 14th 2014 at her residence in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on December 21, 1941 in Beaumont, Texas to Francis Meriwether and Laura Miller Meriwether. Mary was a special woman loved by all who knew her. Of all her jobs, she enjoyed her position at Luby’s Cafeteria in the Gaylynn Center in Beaumont, Texas the most. She started out as a hostess
