Funeral services for Betty Lee Cowart, 70, of Lindale was at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will began at 5:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Cowart died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in Tyler, TX. Born in Silsbee, Betty was a long time resident before moving to Lindale. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy Lee and Mary Elizabeth Bellenger Brewer. Survivors include son, Albert Lee Talley and wife Susan of Groveton; daughter, Cindy Cox of Palestine; sister, Patty Haynes and husband Ron of Odessa; and eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Beth Ann Taylor Andrews, 46, of Evadale will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Morse Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the funeral home. Mrs. Andrews passed away August 4, 2014 at her residence. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Beth grew up in Evadale. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Andrews is preceded in death by her sister, Betty Frizzell.

Graveside services for Jennie Marjorine “Margie” Fontaine, 84, of Silsbee were at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday,August 5, 2014 at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Mrs. Fontaine passed away August 2, 2014 in the comfort of her home. Margie was a native of Gary, Texas and a long time resident of Silsbee. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who loved her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening as well as hunting and fishing. She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years W. A. “Bill” Fontaine, Sr.; parentsWilber andWillie Wooten and sister Lois Cook. Survivors include sons, William Arthur “Billy” Fontaine, Jr.

Pat Livingston

Pat Smith Livingston, age 62, of Lumberton, TX, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2014. She was born to Albert “Sonny” Smith and Muriel Gallier Smith on December 10, 1951 inWinshire, TX. Pat was raised in Hampshire but lived most of her life in Lumberton. She began her career at a young age as a hairdresser and ran a successful business of her own, Bayou Styles, for 32 years. Pat loved the outdoors, not only working in her yard, but hunting, fishing and anything on the water. She was known as the perfect hostess and loved entertaining her family and friends. Holidays were very special to her, and she always had a flair for decorating.

Edward Ray Dodd Jr., 35, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Houston. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Community Cemetery in Beaumont under the direction of J.B. Coleman Memorial Mortuary in Silsbee. A native of Silsbee and a longtime resident of Beaumont, he was a retired asbestos abatement superintendent for Rifco Construction. Survivors include his mother, Betty McKinney Dodd of Beaumont; daughters, Yalazja Dodd and Estavia Dodd, both of Beaumont; son, Raydrian Dodd of Beaumont; sisters, Genia Dodd and Crystal Dodd, Rachel Dodd, Shumara Dodd, and Michielle Goodman, all of Beaumont; and brothers, Curtis Dodd of Beaumont and Steven Dodd ofWoodville.

Faithlynn Michelle Mills, infant daughter of Marshall Sells III and Debbie Lynn Mills, both of Silsbee died Monday, July 28, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 7 at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze under the direction of J.B. Coleman Memorial Mortuary in Silsbee. Other than her parents, survivors include sisters,Mynard Sorto, Sayda Sorto, Linsi Sorto, Reina Sells and Asia Sells; brothers, Charles Mills, Quinton Mills, Marshall Sells IV, Christian Sells and Brayden Sells; and grandparents, Debby D. and Roger Mills and Rev. Marshall L. and Jacquline Sells, all of Silsbee.

Visitation was from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Songe passed away July 31, 2014 at Silsbee Oaks Healthcare. She was born in Buna and was a longtime resident of Tyler County. Mrs. Songe was preceded in death by her parents, Lou Ran Sampson andMittie Lou Gore Kirkendall; husbands, Dudley E. Denmon and Leonard J. Songe; son, Larry D. Denmon; and a daughter, Minnie Lee Denmon. Survivors include sons, Dudley Lonell Denmon of Fred and Samuel Howard Denmon of Town Bluff; daughters, Mary Ellen Swinney of Silsbee, GoldieWinger of Silsbee, Mittie Lavern Elliott of Jasper and Joyce Clark of Vidor; sister, Fern Poe of Dermott, Ark; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
