Rosalie Lawrence, 104, of Lumberton, died Saturday, June 6, 2015. Survivors include her daughters, Betty Eldridge and Darlene Ware, both of Lumberton; brother, John Edward Morris of Carthage; and two grandchildren, three greatgrandchildren and three greatgreat- grandchildren. A memorial will be held at a later date.

Frances Butler

Frances Ann Butler, 76, of Silsbee, diedWednesday, June 3, 2015 at her home. Funeral service was Saturday, June 6 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee with burial following in R.S. Farmer Memorial Park in Silsbee. A native of Liberty, she worked as an accounting clerk for American Valve and Hydrant. Survivors include her daughters, Ramona Johnson and husband Doug and Sophie Dobbins, all of Silsbee; brothers, Frank Million of Shreveport, Louisiana and A.W. Million of Dallas; sister, Joyce Taylor of Dallas; and two grandchildren.

Michael Hickman

Michael Ray Hickman, 58, of Houston, died Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Houston Hospice Hospital in Houston. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Silsbee with burial following in Hickory Grove Cemetery under the direction of J.B. Coleman Memorial Mortuary in Silsbee. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. the day of service at the church. Anative of Houston, he was a longtime resident of Silsbee before moving to Houston several years ago. He was employed with Wooden Pallets in Silsbee for 25 years. Survivors include daughters, Melissa “NeeNee” Goins and husbandMorgan and Brittany Hickman; son, Michael Ray Hickman Jr.; parents, Perry and Margie Hickman; brothers, David Floers, Perry Lee Hickman, Ronnie Hickman and wife Renae, Tyrone Hickman and wife Linda and Douglas Hickman; sisters, Dawn “Ollie” Hickan and husband Shang Dockery and Arlisia “Lisa” Hickman and husband Fernandes Bolden; and three grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday June 13, 2015 for Melba Rose Calhoun- Gore, 71, of Shady Cove, Oregon at The Landing onVillage Creek in Silsbee. She passed away October 16, 2014. Survivors include sons, Mason James and Bill James; daughters, Sloan James and Cindy Boatman; and four grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.

Judy Hooks

Memorial services for Judy Ann Hooks, 66, of Silsbee were at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home. Mrs. Hooks was a native and lifelong resident of Silsbee. She was homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents Ray and Thelma Lee and husband Robert Raymond Hooks. Survivors include sons, Gary Mathis, Jr. of Silsbee, Jeff Clowers of Spurger and Raymond Glenn Hooks of Shepherd; daughters, Christy Prewitt of Buna, JeanMcClelland of Town Bluff, Debra Sumner of Silsbee and Cathy Perry of Worthington, WV; sisters, Janet Bradley of North Carolina and Jerri Cheshire of Houston; nineteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Judy Glenn

Funeral service for Judy Dean Glenn, 64, of Beaumont were at 2:00 p.m.Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Broussard’s HardinMemorial Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation was from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Glenn was born September 17, 1950 in Beaumont. She passed away June 7, 2015. Judy was amember of Word of Life Church in Silsbee where she served the Lord. Survivors include sons, Tim Grubbs of Albuquerque, NM and Koice Bryan Grubbs Jr. of Beaumont; stepson, Matt Glenn of Hamshire Fannett; stepdaughter, Charlotte Boaz of Orange; brother, Morris Wayne Dean of Houston; sister, Myrna Moyer of Vidor; dear friend, Karl Duerr of Beaumont; and three grandchildren Damian, Bryan and Jeffery. She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond Kenneth and Mary Alice Dean; and husband Hershel Weldon Glenn.

Angel Jones

Angel K. Jones, "Ms. AJ", 75, of Silsbee, Texas passed away unexpectedly in her home on June 4, 2015. Angel Jones was born in Center, Texas on March 24, 1940 to the late Beola Christin Resno and the late R.C. Kyles. Angel worked for Mead- Westvaco formerly known as Eastex for 30 years. Angel is survived by her daughter, "Pam" Holliday (Michael), son, Ed Jones (Michelle), granddaughters: Comelita Smith (Vandie), Lakia Kyles, India Mitchell, and Melanie Reeves (Ray), and only grandson Katri Jones, great-grandson, Delkedrian Pleasant, greatgranddaughters, T'Nya Teal, Madison Hawkins, and Lindsey Smith, as well as a niece, Sonja Edwards; her siblings, Neva Jackson, Billie Ruth Kyles, Charles Kyles, Jerryleen Edwards, Thomas Noble, Billie Earl Johnson, Reginald Kyles, Shirley Howard and dedicated friends Paulette Land and Betty Spikes. She is also survived by her faithful and loyal companions, Orly and Beola Jones. And, a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Patsy Williams

Patsy Marie Manuel Williams was born November 10, 1938 in PortArthur, Texas to the late Martell and Nola Manuel of Groves, Texas. She has been a resident of Silsbee for over 30 years and a member of the FirstAssembly of God in Silsbee for 8 years. She is a very special woman who served her family, her church, and her community well. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Manuel; and sister, Vivian Boudreaux. She is survived by her sister, Janet Dorion of Houston, her sons, Kent Eugene Williams of Beaumont and John Stuart Williams and wife Katherine Williams of Silsbee, and daughter, Linda CWilliams of Silsbee. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Richard Cope, Jasson Kyle, Tammy Cope, Shawn Williams, and Katlyn Williams, and 8 great grandchildren. A viewing was held at Farmers Funeral Home Saturday June 6, 2015 from5-9 pm. Burial service was at 2 p.m.

Harold D. Parr, 78, of Bunaassed away May 5, 2015 at his residence. He was born June 21, 1936 toWillisW. and la Mae Parr. Mr. Parr was a native of Houston and a longtime resident of Buna. He was selfemployed and a retired Fabrication Technician. He served his country proudly for the United States Army. Harold is preceded in death by his parents Willis W. and Ila Mae Parr; wife Delanie Parr and brother Ray Parr. Survivors include sons, Harold Vernon Parr of Houston, Bryon Keith Parr of Houston, Robert Ray Parr of Katy, Steven Loller of Newton, and Robert Hare of Katy; daughters, Susan Elaine Plummer of Cuero, Rhonda Blair of California, and Danielle North of Tennessee; brothers, Bob Parr of Silsbee and Herbert Parr of Rusk; sisters, IlaMae Rankin of Lufkin and Margie Rasmussen of Missoula, Montana; eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. There will be a memorial service at Knupple Park at 12 noon Sunday June 7, 2015 under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
