Jeanette Jones

Funeral services for Jeanette Miguez Jones, 75, of Silsbee were at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Jones died June 23, 2014 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care. Born in Louisa, LA, she was a long time resident of Silsbee. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Jeanette was preceded in death by husband Vernon Jones, and daughter LetaWilkerson. Left to cherish her memories are her son, Thomas Jones of Fort Smith, AR; daughters, Karen Newsum Sweatt and husband Donnis of Lumberton and Janet Jones Stinson and husband Paul ofWarren; brother, CoralMigues of Franklin LA; sisters, Bea Ewing of New Iberia LA and Nancy Bove of Kenner LA; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 700 North St, SteM, Beaumont TX 77701.

Robert Rozell

Robert Dale Rozell, 77, of Lumberton, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 following a tractor accident occurring on June 9, 2014. Funeral service was Saturday, June 21 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton with burial following in Leatherwood Cemetery in Loeb. A native of Webb City, Oklahoma, he was employed for 30 years as a truck driver with Consolidated Freightways and was a member of Teamsters Local 820. Following retirement, he started a up a dump truck business. Survivors include his wife of 58 /12 years, Lovelle Rozell of Lumberton; daughter, Melissa Tweedel and husband Terry of Lumberton; son, Tim Rozell and wife Debbie of Sour Lake; brother, Paul Rozell and wife Laquita of Perry, Georgia; and six grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Floyd Lanclos

Floyd Joseph Lanclos, 76, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014. A native of Opelousas, Louisiana, he moved to Lumberton in 1976 where he openedAir- Tech Service (a heating, ventilation and air conditioning service). Survivors include his son, Chris Lanclos of Lumberton; and sisters, Betty Horton and husband Oscar of Cusetta, Georgia and Shirley Scuderi and husband Mike of Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Pauline Bolin

Funeral service for Pauline Bolin, 87, of Silsbee was at 3:00 p.m. Saturday June 28, 2014 at Cunningham Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation was from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Farmer Funeral Home. Mrs Bolin passed away June 25, 2014 at Silsbee Oaks Nursing Home. She was a native of Hamburg, Ark and a longtime resident of Silsbee. Mrs Bolin is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Beulah Craig; husband, Louis M. Bolin; and two daughters, Cynthia Bolin Smith, and Paula Bolin Warren. Survivors include daughter, Betty Balla of Silsbee; a sister Sue Craig Stanley of Hamburg, Ark; grandchildren Randy Balla, Marty Warren, Corinna Willis, and Rhonda Stout; eight great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren and three sons-inlaw.

Allen Ard

AllenArd, 82, of Spurger, died Monday, June 30, 2014 at his home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 3 at Beech Creek Church in Spurger under the direction of Riley Funeral Home in Woodville with burial following in Beech Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the funeral home. A lifelong resident of Tyler County, he was a retired driller/mechanic for Big 6. Survivors include sister, Ludie Myers of Woodville; brothers, EarnestArd and JoeArd, both of Town Bluff; son, John Allen Ard of Onalaska; daughter, Mary Landers of Silsbee; stepdaughters, Paula Ard of Onalaska, Teresa Eddins of Brookland and Jim David Ratcliff of Spurger; and 32 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Tommye Mortimore

A memorial service for Tommye Dena Mortimore, 64, of Austin will be held at 11 o'clock on the morning of Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee. Mrs. Mortimore passed away at Seaton Medical Center in Austin on Friday, June 20, 2014. Dena was a native of Silsbee and a longtime resident ofAustin. She was retired from the State of Texas, and was an active member of the Society for Creative Anachronism. She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Byron Read, and a brother, Joseph J. "Joey" Landry. Survivors include her husband, David Mortimore of Austin, mother, Ella Dee Williamson Read ofAustin; cousins, Frank E. McDonald and family of Silsbee; and niece, Melissa Landry of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Dena will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Travis Joe Moss, 38, of Kountze, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral service was Saturday, June 28 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Kountze with burial following in Holland Cemetery, also in Kountze. A native and lifelong resident of Kountze, he was a teacher at both Woodville and Lumberton Independent School Districts. Survivors include his mother, Dannie Faye Huggins Moss of Kountze; father, Henry JoeMoss of Evadale; and sister, Shawn Gunter and husband Paul of Lumberton.

Shirley Irene Cochran, 75, of Lumberton, died Thursday, June 19, 2014. Visitation was held Tuesday, June 24 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton. A native of Columbus, Ohio, she had worked for several different retail stores. Survivors include daughters, Tina Lee of Lumberton and Elizabeth Taylor and husband Donald of Duck Hill, Mississippi; son, Donald Lee Miller of Thailand; sisters, Barbara McEntire and husband Marvin of Columbus, Ohio and Virginia List and husband John of Zanesville, Ohio; and ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pate Callaway

Pate Callaway, 87, of Silsbee, diedWednesday, June 25, 2014 at Silsbee Convalescent Center in Silsbee. A graveside service was held Saturday, June 28 at Baker Bell Cemetery under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. A native of Fred and a longtime resident of Silsbee, he worked as an electrician for the Texas Highway Department before retiring. Survivors include sons, John Robert Callaway of Channelview and Carl Lindsey Callaway of Lumberton; daughters, Kathleen Maguire of Slidell, Louisiana and Aileen Berryman of Baytown; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
