Pines Theater Management informed Officer Chase Kelly and Officer Brandon Rogers, who are the lead investigators on the case, that the merchandise had been stolen over a period of several days and that they (management) suspected one of the Pines Theater employees.

Officers Kelly and Rogers were given information on the suspect and upon investigating, came across an internet post that helped lead them to the suspect.

With information from Pines Theater employees and the information from the internet post, Officers Kelly and Rogers were able to locate the suspect, an 18-year old Silsbee resident and question him.

According to Davis, officers recovered all the merchandise in the 1000 block of Woodrow Road in Silsbee.

Reports state that the suspect is cooperating fully with law enforcement and formal charges for theft are expected to be filed within days. Davis stated that they do not anticipate anyone else to charged and that this was an isolated incident.
