-- McDonald's, 610 Hwy. 96 South, Silsbee: Went in on surprise visit. Restaurant had to be closed down for mice infestation. Found both live and dead mice as well as live roaches. Pest control came out and restaurant did some serious cleaning. The restaurant was opened back up that afternoon.

-- Chef Chen, 900 Hwy. 96 South, Silsbee: Went in on a complaint. Roaches found in the food. The kitchen area was dirty and needed cleaning. Rat droppings on cabinet around food area. Not washing hands in hand sink. Pest control coming out and spraying.

--Grand China Buffet, 1320 Hwy. 96 South, Lumberton: Went in on a complaint call. Had to call and talk to pest control about restaurant having roaches. Exterminators have been coming out and spraying. Hopefully the problem will be corrected.

-- Kotoyama, 215 South Main, Lumberton: Score 83: Walk-in cooler needed thermometer. No paper towels at hand sink. Not using hand sink for washing hands. Kitchen area was dirty and needed cleaning. Everything needs to be six inches off the floor in the walk-in cooler.

-- Pizza Hut, 720 Hwy. 96, Silsbee: score 87: Oven dirty and needed to be cleaned. Mold buildup on ice machine. Employee was wearing fake fingernails. Needed paper towels at hand sink. Clogged line in kitchen making water stand on floor.

-- Hot Wok, 76 North LHS Drive, Lumberton: Score 93: Needed chlorine test strips for sanitizing dishes. Needed soap and paper towels at hand sink. Weren't washing hands properly. Needed to use hand sink.

-- Kentucky Fried Chicken/Taco Bell, 815 Hwy. 96 South, Silsbee: Score 94: Walk-in chicken cooler needs to have floor fixed where tiles are coming up. Kitchen area needs a good cleaning.

-- Munchies Ole, 1198 North 5th Street, Silsbee: Score 97: Slime on ice machine.

-- Lumberton Fitness, 727 North Main Street, Lumberton: Score 97: Ice machine needed to be cleaned.

-- Dairy Queen, 827 North Main, Lumberton: Score 97: Grease buildup on floor around fryer. Tiles coming up in dishwashing area.

-- Henderson Middle School, Hardin-Jefferson ISD, 3025 Hwy. 326, Sour Lake: Score 97: Ice machine had mold buildup on it.
