The District 10-2A Division I All-District Football selections were announced, and East Chambers was well represented in the selections with 16 Buccaneers chosen.

On the All-District roster were Hank Jones as the district’s Most Valuable Player, and Glen Roberts as one of two Newcomers of the Year.

Other Buccaneer selections included Eric Payton and Coby Trevino on first team offense; Titus King, Richard Boullion, Kirby Johnson, Adam Davis, and Eric Hart on first team defense; Jordan Benson and Taylor Reddell on second team defense; and Austin Gilfillian, Efrain Mora, Kylor Weisse, and Joe Martinez on second team offense.

EC’s Coach Valastro and Anahuac’s Coach Barbay were chosen Coach of the Year.
