EUNICE ELIZABETH BALLARD

Sis. Ballard fought a good fight, finished her course and has kept the faith.  And now a crown of righteousness awaits her.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. today, Wednesday, August 12 at Gateway Tabernacle Church in Kirbyville under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Officiating will be the Rev. Huey Royer, the Rev. Homer Looper, the Rev. M.R. Hennigan, the Rev. Danny Lewis and the Rev. C.M. Duplissey.

She entered this life August 21, 1917 and went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 9, 2009.

Sis. Ballard worked along side her husband, the Rev. C.C. Ballard, in the ministry for many years.  She was a faithful servant of God.  She always helped anyone in need.  Sis. Ballard was a firm believer in the One God Apostolic message.  She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.  She loved each of her children and grandchildren dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. C.C. Ballard; and grandson, Corky Ballard.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Carlos Ballard and wife Vette of Kirbyville; daughters, Linda Ballard, Donna Craft and Renee` Cullifer and husband Carl of Kirbyville; granddaughter, Melanie Broussard and husband Edwin; grandson, Montana Cullifer; and great-grandchildren, Justin Ballard and Colin Broussard.
