PHILLIP “BUCK” BOWMAN
Phillip “Buck” Bowman, 73, of Kirbyville died Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at his residence.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 18 at Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Bean Cemetery.
A native of Ozark, Arkansas and longtime resident of Vidor, he had lived in Kirbyville 15 years and was a retired owner/operator of a water well service.
Survivors include his wife, Hattie Bowman of Kirbyville; sons, Curtis Dean Bowman of Vidor and Keith Bowman of Beaumont; daughter, Phyllis Bowman of Vidor; brothers, Harold Bowman of Vidor, Dennis Lee Bowman of Orange and Bobby Bowman and Doyle Bowman, both of Ozark, Arkansas; sisters, Estelle Stacy, Ruby Bowman, Velma Bowman and Dot Bowman; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
CHARLES FULFER
Charles Fulfer, 82, of Kirbyville died Sunday, October 19, 2008 in Tyler.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 21 at Kirbyville Church of Christ under the direction of Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Bean Cemetery.
A native of Rockwall, he had lived in Kirbyville 30 years and was a retired seaman. He was also a Merchant Marine veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam wars.
Survivors include his children, Lester Fulfer, Teddy Fulfer, Nita Green, Jeannie Fulfer, Mark Fulfer and Kattine Fulfer; stepchildren, Belinda Curl, Curtis Procella, Dorothy Smith and Lennie Kellum; sister, Julia Jacobs; 33 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. |
