Alvin Andrus, 64, of Kirbyville died Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in Veterans Hospital in Houston.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 27 at Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial and Military Honors at Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Andrus of Kirbyville; sons, Gary Gurley of Corsicana and Michael Bright of Alabama; daughters, Regina McGuire of Dayton and Wanda Brister of Kirbyville; brothers, J.T. Andrus of North Zulch and Ed Andrus of Crockett; sisters, Laverne Andrus of North Zulch and Wanda Buckner of Houston; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

ERIN CHEYANNE MIDKIFF

Erin Cheyanne Midkiff, 23, of Bon Wier died Friday, March 27, 2009 in a tragic car accident.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 30 at Smith Funeral Home in Newton with burial at Hughes Cemetery near Bon Wier.

A native of DeRidder, Louisiana, she was known for her love, kindness and always gave freely. She was the manager at Subway in Kirbyville.

Survivors include her mother and daddy, David and Mildred Mason of Bon Wier; father and stepmother, John and Cathy Midkiff of Lewis Chapel; sister and brother-in-law, Shontel and Ray Belcher of Bon Wier; sister, Monique Wedgeworth of Bon Wier; brother, JonJustin Midkiff of Lewis Chapel; grandmother, Grace Wedgeworth of Bon Wier; her beloved dog, Edward; cats, Mr. Kittie and Orangie; and many best friends.
