DONALD HATFIELD

Donald Hatfield, 51, of Kirbyville, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at his residence. 

Funeral services were held Friday, April 16 at Solid Rock Baptist Church in Kirbyville under the direction of Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Trout Creek Cemetery.

A native of Port Arthur and longtime resident of Old Salem, he had lived in Kirbyville two years and was a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, LaJean Hatfield of Kirbyville; daughter, Heather Hatfield of Orange; stepsons, Dylan Bowling and Cody Bowling, both of Kirbyville; stepdaughters, Theresa Thomas of Garland and Jeri Cox of Ardmore, Oklahoma; parents, Lynord and Jo Ann Hatfield of Old Salem; brother, Calvin Hatfield of Old Salem; sister, Melissa Kay Odom of Old Salem; and three grandchildren.

TARA MATLOCK

Tara Matlock, 34, of Kirbyville, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at her residence. 

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 17 at Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Trout Creek Cemetery.

A native of Dallas, she had lived most of her life in Kirbyville and was a nurses’ aide with Jasper County Medical Center in Kirbyville.

Survivors include her husband, James Matlock of Kirbyville; sons, Chase Edward Matlock and Christopher White, both of Kirbyville; mother and stepfather, Bobbie and Paul White of Hemphill; father and stepmother, Terry and Janie Gaught of Fort Worth; brothers, Chad Gaught of Kirbyville and Tony Gaught of Alabama.
