CHARLES EUGENE MOORE
Charles Eugene Moore, 61, of Kirbyville died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 in Kirbyville.
Graveside funeral services were held Sunday, November 30 at Antioch Cemetery in Buna under the direction of Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Buna.
A native of Rayne, Louisiana and a former resident of Deweyville, he had lived in Kirbyville eight years and was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include his sons, Jeff Moore of Orangefield and Ray Moore of Port Neches; daughter, Tammy LeBlanc and husband Troy of Buna; grandchildren, Shane Richard, Ryan Moore, Ashley Moore, Dru LeBlanc, Amber Moore and Samantha LeBlanc; and great-grandchild, Colton Richard.
VERDA MAE KELLEY REID
Verda Mae Kelley Reid, 78, of Splendora died Monday, November 24, 2008 in Conroe.
Graveside services were held Friday, November 28 at Davis Cemetery in the Beulah Springs Community under the direction of Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville.
Survivors include her sons, James Lester Reid of Austin and William Reid of Splendora; brother, Ronald William Reid of Houston; sisters, Eloise Pennington of Newton County, Ruth Johnson of California and Elaine Tucker of Houston; and one granddaughter.
LONNIE NELSON SHEARD
Lonnie Nelson Sheard, 72, of Broaddus died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 in Buna.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 29 at Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery.
A native of San Augustine, he was a former resident of the Bess May and Buna areas and had lived in Broaddus 29 years. He was a retired operator.
Survivors include his sons, John Brown of Buna and Bobby Brown of Bevil Oaks; daughters, Pam Goodman of Newton, Penny Webb of Mauriceville, Shannon Darby of Lumberton and Angela Gant of California; brother, Tommy Sheard of Buna; sisters, LaVell Widner of Buna, Mozell Ruso of Buna, Ruth Howell of Silsbee, Hazel Stepte of San Augustine, Georgia B. Sanford of San Augustine, Sue Sterling of Buna, Doris Lisenby of Buna and Shelia Colter of Buna; and 12 grandchildren.
