 BONNIE JEAN FISHER FROST

Bonnie Jean Fisher Frost, 79, of Newton died Thursday, January 7, 2010 at her residence in Newton. 

Funeral services were held Monday, January 11 at Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper with burial at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont. 

A former resident of Houston, she had lived in Newton since 1978. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Charles Fisher; and grandson, Christopher McAfee.

Survivors include her husband, Jess Frost of Newton; son, Butch Bryan and wife Gayle of Deer Park; daughter, Bonnie Cone and husband Ron of Austin; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

GEORGIA “JUDY” BROCKMAN RALEIGH

Georgia “Judy” Brockman Raleigh, 84, died Sunday, January 3, 2010.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 9 at the Toledo Bend Baptist Church in Burkeville with burial at Antioch Cemetery in Buna under the direction of Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home.

The daughter of William Darnell Brockman and Mellie Williams Brockman, Judy was born in Kountze on June 28, 1925.  She grew up principally in the Buna area.  After a long career as a Loan Officer with Jefferson Savings and Loan in Louisiana, she retired and moved to Toledo Bend in 1982.  She loved vegetable gardening, fishing, and participating with her friends in church, social and charitable activities. 

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Mac Price “Charlie.” 

Survivors include her daughter, Mellie Charmain; son, Charles Richard “Rick”; daughter-in-law, Betty; grandsons, Stephen Michael and John Richard; brother, Wesley and sister-in-law, Martha Brockman; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Toledo Bend Baptist Church or to the Toledo Bend Women’s Association, 156 Cardinal Cove, Burkeville, Texas 75932 to aid their scholarship fund program.

MILDRED CRANE WALLACE

Mildred Crane Wallace, 82, of Port Neches died January 5, 2010 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Funeral services were held Friday, January 8 at Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Kirbyville Cemetery. 

A native of Call, she had lived in Port Neches 54 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Wallace; great-grandson, Ashton LeBert; son-in-law, Kenneth LeBert; four brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include her son, Perry L. Wallace and wife Janet of Nederland; daughters, Eleanor LeBert of Orange and Carla Green and husband Charles of Lumberton; sister, Doris Talbert and husband Floyd of Brookeland; brother-in-law, Jack Ramsey of Lumberton; sisters-in-law, Frances Crane and Geraldine Crane, both of Kirbyville and Billie Jean Crane of Orange; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
