LAURA L. JACKSON
Laurel L. Jackson, 92, of Kirbyville died Saturday, January 10, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 12 at Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Magnolia Springs Cemetery.
A native of Brantley, Alabama, she had lived most of her life in Kirbyville.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Kasub of Kirbyville; brothers, Charles Jones and John Jones, both of Kirbyville; sisters, Kat Davis and Eva Yates, both of Gilmer; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
ROBERTA LEE EWING
Roberta Lee Ewing, 67, of Kirbyville died Sunday, January 1, 2009 at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 14 at the Church of Nazarene in Kirbyville. Cremation was under the direction of Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville.
A native of Swampscott, Massachusetts, she had lived in Kirbyville 12 years.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Anderson and husband John of New Orleans and Dawn LaBiche and husband John of Kirbyville; lifelong friend and father of her daughters, Richard Ross; sister, Sandra Roberts of Salem, Massachusetts; and four grandchildren.
