Johnny Ray Cox  

Jonny Ray Cox, 54, of Kirbyville passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 at Jasper Nursing and Rehabilitation in Jasper.  Funeral services were held Monday, February 28 at Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Kirbyville Cemetery.

A native of Decatur, Alabama, he was raised in Kirbyville.  He was a longtime resident of Conroe and had lived back in Kirbyville five years. Jonny was a former instrument technician and an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast.

Survivors include his sister, Francine Landry and husband Mike of Nederland; nephew, Todd Landry and wife Jennifer; great-nieces, Amber Landry, Melanie Landry Monk and husband Henry and Holly Landry; and a great-great niece, Avery Monk.

The family would like to thank Harbour Hospice for their kind and compassionate care for Jonny.

William "Bill" Hoyt

William “Bill” Hoyt, 72, of Woodville passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011 at his residence.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 1 at Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Buna with burial at Morse Cemetery.

A native of Watkinsville, Georgia, he had lived in Woodville 20 years and was a retired heavy equipment mechanic.

Survivors include his children, Alice Landrum of Irving, David Landrum and wife Jamie of Old Salem, James Melvin Hoyt of Dallas and Edward Hoyt and wife Starla and LaHoma “Sissy” West and husband Jeff, all of Woodville; brother, Robert Hoyt of Georgia; sister, Willie Maude Conner of Georgia; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
