Wesley J. Barthol, 44, of Jasper died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Herman Memorial Hospital in Houston.
Funeral services were Sunday, October 4 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery near Yellow Pine, Texas.
A native and lifelong Jasper resident he graduated from Jasper High School in 1984 and he was a lineman with the City of Kirbyville Utilities Department.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ovie Barthol.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years Sarah Barthol of Jasper; son, Mark Brooks of Jasper; father, Harvey Barthol, sister, Kathy Wright of Jasper; father and mother-in-law, Sam and Clara Williams of McComb, Mississippi; brothers-in-law, Lonnie Williams and wife Mindy of Kirbyville and Sam Williams and wife of Washington State; sisters-in-law, Becky Williams of Kirbyville, Susan Williams of Bogalusa, Louisiana and Shannon Williams of Waco; a number of nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

L.P. FEEMSTER
L.P. Feemster, 82, of Kirbyville died Thursday, October 1, 2009 in Houston.
Funeral services were Sunday, October 4 at Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Friendship Cemetery in Roganville.
A native of Port Arthur, he had lived in Kirbyville since 1966 and was a retired shipfitter. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Pallbearers included Lee Prewitt, Bobby Gilchriest, Joey Danna, Mark Simmons, Bucky Gilchriest, Michael Gouthier, Jason Loper and Daren Burleson.
Survivors include his sons, Mike Feemster and wife Debra of Kirbyville, Louis Gilchriest, III of Buna, Buck Gilchriest and wife Sandy of Buna and Leon Gilchriest of Beaumont; daughters, Jenny Simmons of Port Arthur, Gayle Gouthier and husband Mike of Port Arthur, Nita Feemster of LaPorte, Kathy Prewitt and husband Rodney of Kirbyville and Linda Fussell and husband Curtis of Kirbyville; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
