Request for Proposal-Insurance

Sealed proposals will be received until 2 p.m. May 31, 2013, by the Kountze ISD, P.O. Box 460/160 W. Vaughn Street, Kountze, Texas 77625, for General Liability, Professional Legal Liability, Property, and Fleet Insurance.  The insurance purchased will be a one to three year policy with a guarantee on multi-year rates.  The effective date will be September 1, 2013.  The school district will retain the continuing right to terminate the contract at the end of each contract year.  Non-renewal notification will follow contract guidelines.  Proposals will be publicly opened, tabulated, and submitted to the Board of Trustees for consideration at the next available board meeting.  Kountze ISD reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.  Please label all bid proposals as “Sealed Proposal for Insurance” on the outside of the envelope.     203

NOTICE OF HEARING

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (Commission), Petitioner, is the state agency with authorization to administer and enforce the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code (“Code”) and the administrative rules, 16 Tex. Admin. Code 31.1 et seq., (“Rules”) adopted by the Commission to implement the Code. The manufacture, sale, distribution, transportation, and possession of alcoholic beverages are governed exclusively by the Code, except where the Code provides otherwise (Code 1.06, 5.01, and 5.31). The County Judge is authorized to conduct hearings and issue orders for beer licenses and permits under Chapters 25, 26, 61, and 69 of the Code.

Jurisdiction before the County Judge is established at 61.32 of the code. The procedural rules of the State Office of Administrative Hearings apply to this hearing (1 Tex. Admin. Code, Chapter 155). The local rules of this court also apply to this hearing.

This action relates to an application for a license or a permit for WINE AND BEER RETAILER’S OFF-PREMISE PERMIT (BG).

WILDWOOD PROPERTY OWNER’S ASSOCIATION – WILDWOOD PRO SHOP, applicant, has filed as application for a WINE AND BEER RETAILER’S PERMIT, for the premises to be operated at 2201 BUTTON WILLOW DR., HARDIN COUNTY, TEXAS 77663.
