Officers of said company are Bryan McCrory, President, Treasurer, and Secretary; and Jeffrey Hoban, Vice President and Assistant Secretary.
SEALED PROPOSALS will be received by the City of Kountze at City Hall, 1025 N. Pine Street, P.O. Box 188, Kountze, Texas 77625, until Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at which time and place the sealed proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after the above stated time will be returned unopened. All interested persons may attend.

Bids should be sealed in an envelope with the following information clearly marked on the outside:

Contract documents, including plans and specifications are available and may be examined without charge in the City Hall of Kountze, Texas. Contract documents including bid proposal forms, plans sheets, and specifications for the Project may be viewed and downloaded free of charge (with the option to purchase copies) at www.civcastusa.com. Scanned plans and specifications (PDF format) are available on CD for a non-refundable price of $50 from KSA Alliance, Inc., 1111 Hawn Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana 71107, and Telephone: (318) 221-7501. Printed copies of the contract documents may also be viewed at the Architect’s office. Printed copies are not available from the Designer. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs.
Please submit questions for this project at least 72 hours prior to bid opening through www.civcastusa.com in the Q&A portal or to John E. Selmer, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C at email@example.com. All addenda issued for this project will be posted on www.civcastusa.com. You will be notified of addenda automatically through email if you download the plans and specifications via www.civcastusa.com.
All Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security equal to five (5%) of the Base Bid and all Additive Alternates and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond written by a company licensed to do business in Texas.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Texas, each in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract amount. This project is to be financed in part by Federal funds and, as such, the award of this Contract is contingent upon the availability and receipt of required Federal Funds.
Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves of all local conditions. Time of substantial completion shall be 180 calendar days including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays.
Bidders will be allowed to modify or withdraw bids prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. No bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will be accepted or opened. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least 90 calendar days.
In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness stating the price in the bids, the City of Kountze reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject the bid. The City of Kountze reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids.
