The Kountze Independent School District is accepting sealed proposals until 2 p.m., May 31, 2013, for the following 2013-2014 school year items:

Sealed proposals shall be labeled on the outside of the envelope, “Athletic Proposals”, and returned to the K.I.S.D. Business Office, P.O. Box 460, 160 Vaughn Street, Kountze, Texas 77625.  Bids will be opened, tabulated, and submitted to the Board of Trustees for consideration as soon as possible after the closing date and time.  Proposal documents and additional information may be obtained by contacting K.I.S.D. In the event of a disaster vendor will assist in the removal, recovery and harboring of human remains.  Note any transportation cost and other services associated with the care of the deceased should be addressed in proposal.

Kountze Independent School District

Request for Proposal-Insurance

Sealed proposals will be received until 2 p.m. May 31, 2013, by the Kountze ISD, P.O. Box 460/160 W. Vaughn Street, Kountze, Texas 77625, for General Liability, Professional Legal Liability, Property, and Fleet Insurance.  The insurance purchased will be a one to three year policy with a guarantee on multi-year rates.  The effective date will be September 1, 2013.  The school district will retain the continuing right to terminate the contract at the end of each contract year.  Non-renewal notification will follow contract guidelines.  Proposals will be publicly opened, tabulated, and submitted to the Board of Trustees for consideration at the next available board meeting.  Kountze ISD reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.  Please label all bid proposals as “Sealed Proposal for Insurance” on the outside of the envelope.     203
