A one car accident on Duberry Road claimed the life of William Hollyfield, 45, of Silsbee.

According to DPS, the accident occurred at around 12:40 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29.

Hollyfield was traveling west on Duberry, approaching a curve, when his vehicle struck several trees and overturned. According to the DPS report, Hollyfield was not wearing a seat belt.

He was pronounced dead at 1:51 a.m. by Justice of the Peace Kent Walker.
