| Drug bust nets 23 warrant arrests in County |

Law enforcement agents from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office and Lumberton, Kountze and Silsbee police departments gathered together this past Wednesday and then scattered to the four corners of the county, hauling in suspects in a drug warrant roundup that eventually netted 23 fugitives.
Warrants were issued for various drug charges ranging from manufacture and delivery of controlled substances to possession of marijuana.
Several were arrested on charges that also included stiffer sentences for drugs possessed or sold in drug-free zones, which include areas around schools, parks or other locations where children are regularly present.
Those arrested on Wednesday and Thursday of this past week have been charged with but not convicted of the crimes listed. They include:
Case No. 2008-2-0435: LaMichael F. Garrett of P.O. Box 1933, Silsbee, delivery of marijuana, at least a quarter-ounce but less than five pounds.
2008-2-0430, 2008-2-0431, 2008-2-0429: Ronald Eric Dayton Jr., 8115 Blackwell in Silsbee, delivery of marijuana, manufacture of a dangerous drug, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone.
1-12236-08: Tasha L. Harmon, 1105 Railroad in Silsbee, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, less than one gram.
2008-4-0293: Gary L. Robertson, 125 MLK, Apt. B, Silsbee, manufacture/delivery, Penalty Group 3/4, less than 28 grams.
1-12244-08: Earl Foster, 745 Woodrow, Silsbee, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, drug-free zone.
2008-4-1299, 2008-4-0298: Amberee M. Flowers, 760 N. 7th St., Silsbee, Delivery of Marijuana, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, drug-free zone.
2008-4-0297: Edward L. Briscoe Jr., 1865 Ollie St., Beaumont, delivery of marijuana, more than five pounds, drug-free zone.
1-12240-08: Keniel Jamiel Elam, 1149 N. 4th St., Silsbee, delivery of marijuana.
2008-2-0433: Terry Barclay, 813 Trotty Horse Rd., Silsbee, possession of marijuana, less than two ounces.
1-12242-08, 1-2243-08: Brandon T. Jackson, 265 S. 7th St., Silsbee, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 2, less than one gram; delivery of marijuana.
2008-4-0303: John W. Harper, 2510 Hwy. 327, Silsbee, manufacture/delivery of controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, less than 1 gram.
1-12241-08: Edwin J. Elam, 205 S. 15th St., Silsbee, delivery of marijuana.
