W. J.  Kirkpatrick

A memorial service for William Jordan ‘Bill’ Kirkpatrick, 92, of Buna, will be Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Buna.

Mr. Kirkpatrick passed away June 3, 2013 at Park Manor of the Woodlands.  

Bill was a native of Evadale, and a lifelong resident of Buna.  He retired from Temple Inland where he worked as a welder.  He proudly served his country in the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry W. and Maud Reese Kirkpatrick; wife, Mary Doris Hargrove Kirkpatrick and nine siblings.

Survivors include son, William J. Kirkpatrick, Jr. and wife Paulette of Wharton; daughter, Doris G. Sims and husband Jay of Conroe; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Kelly Clements

Kelly Hindsley Clements, 30, of Vidor and a former resident of Spurger died Friday, June 7, 2013.

Survivors include her daughter, Kloe; brother John Hindsley and wife Dori of Hot Springs, AR; Aunt, Donna Hatton and husband Arnold of Spurger; Uncles, Wayne Clements of Spurger and Gary Clements and wife Wanda of Humble.

Funeral arrangements are pending.

Climmie Bearden

Climmie Wynn Brunner Bearden, 79, of Homer, Louisiana and a former resident of Silsbee died Thursday, May 30, 2013 in Homer.

Funeral service was held Saturday, June 1 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer with burial following in Arlington Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Arvil Bearden of Homer; sons, Robert Brunner Jr. and wife Barbara of Homer and Ricky Brummer and wife Betty of Vidor; sisters, Evelyn Glass of Shreveport, Louisiana, Melvis Baxter and husband Dale of Haynesville, Louisiana and Margaret Inise Crotwell of Brusly, Louisiana; and ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Mary Helen Fontenot

Funeral services for Mary Helen Fontenot, 70, of Beaumont will be 2:00 PM, Friday, June 14, 2013 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until time of service.

Ms Fontenot died June 10, 2013 at Beaumont Health Care.

A native of Port Arthur, she lived in Hardin County until moving to Beaumont 8 years ago.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Mary Guillory Fontenot, sister Linda Gail Erhort and nephew Gary Powell.

Survivors include her brothers Bobby Powell and wife Carol of Silsbee, James A Fontenot of Crowley LA, Lester Veillon and wife Alice of Beaumont and Carl Hudman and wife Carol of Lumberton; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Justin Barnett

Justin Wayne Barnett, 30, of Silsbee, died tragically in a drowning May 26, 2013 in Village Creek.

A native of Galveston, he was a lifelong resident of Silsbee and was employed by McDonald’s.

Justin is survived by his parents, Emmett Lee and Teresa Ann Van Boven Barnett; wife, Jessica Morgan of Silsbee; and son, Jacob Lee Barnett.

Carolyn Morgan

Carolyn Eaves Theobald Morgan, 83, of Wildwood, died Thursday, June 6, 2013.

Funeral service was Saturday, June 8 at Wildwood Baptist Church in Village Mills under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Kountze with burial following in Village Mills Cemetery.

A native of Beaumont, she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a retired supervisor with Gulf States Utilities with 34 years service.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Morgan of Wildwood; children, David H. Theobald Jr. and wife Jane of Beaumont, Mark Morgan of Tampa, Florida, Kindra Nappo of New Hampshire, and Lynn Fuller of Titusville, Florida; and two grandchildren.

Alayna Van Dorn

Alayna Diane Van Dorn, 34, of Lumberton, died Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

Funeral service was Sunday, June 9 at Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church in Silsbee under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee with burial following in R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery, also in Silsbee.

A native of Silsbee, she was a lifelong resident of the area.

Survivors include her husband, Keith Van Dorn; children, Madison Van Dorn and Katie Van Dorn; parents, Vicki and Jim Baker of Silsbee; grandfather, Junior Baker and his wife Martha of Silsbee; and sister, Kimberly Bunde and husband Joshua of Montgomery.
