| Voters casting ballots early |

Early voting turnout in Hardin County received some good numbers on Monday as campaigning and elections heat up across the country.
In Hardin County, County Clerk Glenda Alston reported that roughly 650 people voted on Monday at the Hardin County Courthouse while another 341 voted in Lumberton.
Early voting continues through Nov. 2 in Hardin County at the Hardin County Courthouse from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. There will be weekend voting on Saturday and Sunday at the courthouse from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Branch voting will continue in Lumberton on Wednesday, Oct. 24 and Thursday, Oct. 25 at Lumberton City Hall from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and at Sour Lake Community Center on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 24 and 25 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The general election will be on Nov. 6. |
