Weldon Howard McBride, 70, of Silsbee, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014. Funeral service was Saturday, Feb. 15 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee with burial following in Magnolia Springs in Kirbyville. A native of Cleveland, he served his country in the United States Navy during the Cuban missile crisis. He later worked as a service technician with C.D. Imaging Systems. Survivors include his wife, Kathy McBride; daughters, Lanita McBride Matlock and husband J.D. of Jennings, Oklahoma and Laronn McBride Curto and husband Terry of Oceanside, California; son, Chip McBride and wife Candace of Magnolia; brothers, RonnieMcBride and wife Nita of Jasper and Armond McBride and wife Sue of Beaumont; sisters, Melba Gordon and Sylvia Buckner, both of Silsbee; and four grandchildren.
