Funeral service for Oma Lee Denmon Songe, 94, of Woodville was at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Cunningham Cemetery. Visitation was from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Songe passed away July 31, 2014 at Silsbee Oaks Healthcare. She was born in Buna and was a longtime resident of Tyler County. Mrs. Songe was preceded in death by her parents, Lou Ran Sampson andMittie Lou Gore Kirkendall; husbands, Dudley E. Denmon and Leonard J. Songe; son, Larry D. Denmon; and a daughter, Minnie Lee Denmon. Survivors include sons, Dudley Lonell Denmon of Fred and Samuel Howard Denmon of Town Bluff; daughters, Mary Ellen Swinney of Silsbee, GoldieWinger of Silsbee, Mittie Lavern Elliott of Jasper and Joyce Clark of Vidor; sister, Fern Poe of Dermott, Ark; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
