Pat Smith Livingston, age 62, of Lumberton, TX, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2014. She was born to Albert “Sonny” Smith and Muriel Gallier Smith on December 10, 1951 inWinshire, TX. Pat was raised in Hampshire but lived most of her life in Lumberton. She began her career at a young age as a hairdresser and ran a successful business of her own, Bayou Styles, for 32 years. Pat loved the outdoors, not only working in her yard, but hunting, fishing and anything on the water. She was known as the perfect hostess and loved entertaining her family and friends. Holidays were very special to her, and she always had a flair for decorating. Left to honor her memory is her loving husband, Steve Livingston; daughter, Krystyl Fruge of Houston; sons, Brandon Clough of Lumberton and Jeremy Livingston, and wife, Courtney, of Austin; grandchildren, Brittany and Taylor Walker and Bradley and Brecken Clough; great grandchild, Braylee Brisco; sister, Darlene Dugas and husband, Roger; brothers, Earl Smith, and wife, Charlene, and Hal Smith, and wife, Sheila; her four-legged kids, Moonshine and Whiskey; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Pat in death were her parents. Visitation with family and friends will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, August 9, 2014, at Lumberton Family Funeral Home. Memorial services honoring Pat’s life will follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
