Donation information for Spurger family

Accounts for the Loftin family that lost four children and all of their belongings in a mobile home fire, have been set up.

Parents Amanda and Jimmy Loftin lost four children ages 4-8 in a fire that destroyed the family’s mobile home in the early morning hours on Wednesday in Spurger.

The couple survived with their two youngest, 2-year-old daughter Kayan and 5-month-old son Thomas.

An account at Citizens State Bank in Spurger has been set up under Loftin, and a GoFundMe account has been setup online.

Those wishing to donate clothing and items can take them to Spurger Elementary or the Tyler County Booster in Woodville.

The family needs:

- Kids sleepwear

- Socks and underwear for the parents (ladies size 10)

- Personal hygiene products: soap, deodorant, etc

- Toys for the kids - not a necessity, but anything to make them smile!

- Clothes for the parents: Large shirts for both, men's 34x32 pants and women's XL, shoes: men 11-12.5 and women's 7.5

- Items for Kayan (female): Size 4T, shoes size kids 7, diapers or pull-ups size 5.

- Items for Thomas (male): Size 12-month clothing, Size 3 diapers, wipes, and formula is Simalac Sensitive Birth - 12 months.
