Elementary school showing progress

Construction work continues on the site of the new Silsbee Elementary school despite a wet winter that has forced some lost work days. According to Superintendent Richard Bain, the school’s target date for completion was pushed back to  December of this year several months  go, and the plan continues to remain   e same. “We did lose some work days, but we continue to manage to stay on target for December completion,” Bain said. “The toughest part of the job was  getting the concrete poured, but theconstruction company has done a  great in getting a lot of it done despiteall of this crazy rain.”
