Ernest G. Brown and his wife Sanguine, share stories of old Black Creek in a published book

History is an important part of everyone’s lives, because without it, no one would know who their family was, where they originally came from, and what it was like in the days before technology became such an important factor. Ernest G. Brown is a longtime resident of Hardin County and lives in an area most are unfamiliar with, the Little Rock Community, which is an area of wooded land between Kountze and Sour Lake near Black Creek.
