Chambers county is fastest growing county in SE Texas

The Texas Demographic Center at the University of Texas San Antonio released population estimates for the state of Texas this week. Hardin County had a population of 54,635 in 2010 and it has grown by 3,,301 to 57,936 in 2016. This is a population growth of 6.0% which makes it the second fastest growing county in the southeast part of the state.
