A Silsbee woman went to trial last month on Tuesday, March 21 for possession of controlled substance for a crime committed approximately two years ago, and was also indicted on another charge for possession of controlled substance last month.

Sergeant Mark Vincent with the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics unit worked both cases and arrested Dorothy Loraine Carter for both instances of possession of controlled substance. On January 5, 2015 at about 11:00 a.m., Vincent was assisting the then-Sgt. Charles Daigle with the HCSO to serve a seizure warrant on Bobby Lynn Carter for his residence and property on Covey Lane in Silsbee.
