Domestic disturbance leads to Lumberton stabbing

A domestic disturbance soon turned into an aggravated assault at the home located on 10910 Cooks Lake Road in Lumberton on Sunday. At about 6:06 p.m. the Hardin County Sheriff’s office responded to a call in regards to a stabbing.

Sergeants Grant McDowell and Trevor Samford, among other deputies, arrived at the scene to find a 35-year-old victim with multiple injuries. It appeared that an argument between the victim and 51-year-old Tracy Lane Waller escalated into a stabbing.
