KCISD’s Wallis asks former school district to pay heavy fines or face jail time

Kirbyville and Bryan probably don’t have much in common other than being two Texas towns sitting three hours apart roughly on the 30th parallel. But they’ll most likely forever be linked together because of the ongoing saga between KCISD superintendent Tommy Wallis and the Bryan ISD.

Last week it took another turn when Dr. Wallis asked a district judge to find the BISD, one of its board members and four top administrators in contempt of court. Wallis claims they should face either heavy fines or jail time for released documents that proclaim 14 potential ethical violations he allegedly committed while in Bryan.
