Curtis Byron Collins Sr., 86, of Silsbee, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at his home. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 8 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. A native and longtime resident of Port Arthur, he had lived in Silsbee the past six years. He worked many years as a switchman for Texaco Refinery before retiring. Survivors include his wife, Maxine Caraway Collins of Silsbee; sons, Craig Collins of Carrollton, Joel R. Caraway of Winnie and James C. Caraway of Lumberton; daughters, Lee Ann Collins and Beverly Collins, both of Bridge City and Kimberly Finch of Silsbee; sister, Eileen Powell of Port Arthur; and 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
