She grew up in the East Village Mills and Martin families area, at Hicksbaugh Road and Gore Store Road. She taught quilting classes at her home church, Big Thicket Baptist. She also did volunteer work at Kountze Nursing Home and “in her day” was an avid fisherman on Hickory Creek. Pauline enjoyed gardening and the fruits of her labor and she loved maintaining flower beds. She taught all of us all she could about farm life and raising livestock. Our memories and reflections go on and on. Survivors include her sons, Ray Allen Freeman and wife Charlotte of Kountze, Henry Wayne Freeman and wife Betty of Warren, Kenneth Eugene Freeman Sr. of Warren, Paul Mark Freeman of Village Mills, and Howard Bruce Freeman and wife Lori of Warren; son-in-law, Danny McNabb; daughter-in-law, Geri McAdams Freeman- Bell; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Pauline will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
