Several railroad tracks being restored

Due to the flooding of Tropical Storm Harvey in the Southeast Texas area, several of the railroad tracks were damaged, causing BNSF Railway to restore several of the tracks within the past week since the waters subsided. 

By Sept. 5, with improving, conditions and the strong efforts of the BNSF crews, rail service on most BNSF subdivisions in the Houston area and throughout southeastern Texas had been restored, and all BNSF rail yards and facilities in the region were also open.
