Silsbee High students tell ‘Spooky Stories’

Mummies, pirates, werewolves and shambling monsters raced across the stage at the Ice House Museum, Monday night, to the delight of children aged from kindergarten to second grade.

Silsbee High School theater students spent the last couple weeks writing Halloweenthemed skits and tales for the children in conjunction with Silsbee ISD’s Performing Visual Arts Council for Monday night’s performance. 

“I think it went amazing,” Angie Brown, president of PVAC, said. “We were a little bit nervous at first because not too many kids had shown up, but then they started pouring in.”
