LUMBERTON — Amanda Barlow is Lumberton Public Library’s new head librarian. She started on March 1. “So far I’ve really enjoyed it,” Barlow said.

She is a 2003 graduate of Kirbyville High School and later attended Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT) where she studied computer networking troubleshooting and design for two years.

She’s also attending Lamar University where she will earn a degree in business administration in December.

Before coming to Lumberton, Barlow worked six years at the Kirbyville Public Library.
