Silsbee Woman’s Club meets at Ice House Museum

Silsbee Womans’ Club will meet Thursday, March 10 at 3:30 p.m. at the Silsbee Community Center. Hostesses are members of the Conservation Department chaired by Wendy Jeslink and Alicia Lockhart. The February meeting was hosted by the Arts Department with Melba Tucker as chairman.

Giving back to schools

Member of the First United Methodist Church of Kountze presented school supplies to each of the four campus in the Kountze ISD. These supplies were collected during their mission trip to Sager Brown UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) warehouse in Baldwin, Louisiana.

KHS band and choirmembers compete for all state acclaim

There were only three students in the Region in the small school competition from 3A, 2A, or 1A schools and two of them were from Kountze. Sarah Robins, a junior, and Caleb Campbell, a sophomore, are the 50th and 51st KHS students to make it to All-State in all of KHS history.
