Some Silsbee left in Ireland

Meagan Moore, the reporter at The Silsbee Bee, visited Ireland with her father, Harlan Moore, and brought along some rocks painted by Silsbee natives Brenda Kendrick and Sally Stanley.

The first day of their arrival was a little rough, with both of their luggage missing, but the trip made up for the small hiccup.

The first rock was left at the airport in London where they had an hour and 40 minute layover before continuing on to Dublin. While in Dublin, Moore and her father visited Guiness Storehouse, Dublin Castle, and even visited her Irish friend, whom she met at college at Lamar University. It was their first time riding any sort of public transport such as a local double-decker bus that drove down the roads like it owned it.

Ordinary rocks take an extraordinary adventure

By Meagan Moore

There is a new fad spreading throughout Southeast Texas and even into other states and countries.

Some say it is more enjoyable and entertaining than Pokemon Go, which has died out quite a bit since the app’s release

Brenda Kendrick woke up at 2:30 in the morning on Feb. 24 with an idea she believes to be inspired by the Heavenly Father. The idea came about to create an activity with her grandchildren, and since they always did arts and crafts, Kendrick thought it a brilliant idea to paint rocks.
