Annie Belle Etue

Annie Belle Etue, 98, of Evadale, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018. Funeral service was Monday, May 14 at Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle in Evadale under the direciton of Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following at Morse Cemetery in Buna. Born in Evadale, she worked as a custodian at Evadale School District for many years. Survivors include her children, Geneva Broussard of Nederland, Howard Etue and wife Laverne of Evadale and James Etue of Silsbee; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Theodore Thomas Peters

Theodore Thomas Peters, 75, of Silsbee, died Friday, May 11, 2018. He was born on December 11, 1942, in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, to Irene Drew Peters and Christopher Peters. Theodore attended Austin High School in Detroit, Michigan and Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan where he met Karen, his wife of fifty-four years. He worked in the financial field for twenty-six years before becoming a Subway Franchisee in 1991. He retired in 2010 to travel. Survivors include his wife, Karen Peters; sons, Michael Peters and his wife, Amy, of Deer Park and Robert Peters and his wife, Cari, of Lumberton; grandchildren, Kyle Peters and his wife, Chelsea, of Kountze; Justin Peters and Melissa Peters, both of Deer Park; and Cassidy Peters of Lumberton; brother-in-law, Ronald Brown of Birch Run, Michigan; and sister-in-law, Rochelle Boland of Columbia, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Erin Caroline Donalson, 22, of Silsbee, died Saturday, May 12, 2018. She was born on May 3, 1996, in Beaumont, to Alyson Derkits Donalson and Drew Donalson. Survivors include her parents, Alyson and Drew Donalson; siblings, Lauren Donalson of Boston, Massachusetts, Blair Donalson of Krum, and Heath Donalson of Houston; grandparents, Bonnie and John Derkits of Jasper; aunts and uncles, Gretchen Woodard and her husband, Bobby, of Silsbee; Janna Cormier and her husband, James, of Austin; Cecilia Allen and her husband, Brad, of Martindale; James Derkits and his wife, Laura, of Port Aransas; and Sheila Gralino and her husband, B.J., of Fort Worth; cousin, Alex Donalson and his wife, Rachel, of Lumberton; and numerous other cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Carolyn and J.D. Donalson; uncle, Jerry Donalson; and cousin, Beatrice Cormier.

Judy Carolyn Wiggins Brown, 71, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018. Funeral service was Friday, May 4 at Little Rock Assembly of God Church in Kountze under the direction of Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton with burial following at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, David L. Brown; son, Dave Brown and wife Kim; daughter, Johanna Moak and husband Michael; sisters, Betty Ward, Wanda McCardle, Joyce Grisham and Beth Wheat; brothers, Ernest Brown and Russell Brown; and nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Edwin Riley Collins, 71, of Silsbee, died Sunday, April 29, 2018. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Julie Sealy of Silsbee, Sam Collins of Lumberton, Ricky Collins and Travis Collins, both of Silsbee, Alena Collins of Beaumont, Deana Collins of Lumberton, Curtis Louvierre of Sour Lake, Stephen Collins and Jarrell Collins, both of Lumberton, Devon Louvierre, Edwin Williford and Louis Williford, all of Mauriceville and Janice Evans of Houston. Committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium in Beaumont.

Donald Woodrow Belt

Donald Woodrow Belt Sr., 80, of Kountze, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 17 at Crestwood Baptist Church in Kountze under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following at Mann Cemetery in Colmesneil at 2 p.m. He was the owner and operator of the Don Belt Company, a utility and construction company with six locations. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Joyce Ann Belt of Kountze; children, Donald W. Belt Jr. and wife Carla of Lumberton, Darrell Ray Belt and wife Melinda of Wildwood, Diana Lynn Brown and husband Daniel of Kountze; brother, Joe Belt and wife Sherry of Colmesneil; and 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Mary Lillian Carruth, 89, of Lumberton, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care. Funeral service was Friday, May 11 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Beaumont with burial following at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, also in Beaumont. Born in Beaumont, she taught piano lessons for over sixty years. Survivors include her husband, Claude M. Carruth; daughters, Paula Hargroger and husband Don of Lumberton and Claudia Mouer and husband Vince of Houston; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Kimberley Denice Viasana, 38, of Port Arthur, died Thursday, May 10, 2018. She was born on July 15, 1979, in Galveston, to Lavonda Craft Benoit and George Viasana. Survivors include her father; sister, Kisha Warner and her husband, Robert, of Buna; aunts, Rita Lee and her husband, Robert, of Lumberton; Brenda Craft and her husband, Timothy Herrington, of Silsbee; DeeDee Craft, Sara Johansson, and Melissa Beaver and her husband, Mark Morgan, all of Buna; Sheila Derrick and her husband, Marshall, of Silsbee; Rachal Gutierrez of Saratoga; Linda; and Janice Bolton; uncles, David Craft of Buna and George Craft of Silsbee; and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother. A gathering of Kimberley’s family and friends began at 2:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.

Jessie Stark

Jessie Victoria Stark, 87, of Evadale and formerly of Philadelphia, Mississippi, died Thursday, May 10, 2018. She was born on March 28, 1931, in Seymour, to Victoria McDonald Dillon and Green Dillon. Survivors include her children, Wayne Stark and his wife, Eva, of Evadale; Charlene King and her husband, Reverend Larry, of Boerne; Darlene Lassiter and her husband, Neil, of Twin Falls, Idaho; and Linda Holley of Jamestown, North Carolina; thirteen grandchildren; thirtysix great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reverend Charles Stark; sister, Ruby Arnson; and brother, Roy Dillon. A gathering of Jessie’s family and friends began at 2:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 4:00 p.m., Monday, May 14, 2018, at Buna United Pentecostal Church, 116 CR 833, Buna, under the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee.
