James Huddleston

James Allen Huddleston, 79, of Kountze, died Friday, November 18, 2016 in Kountze. Funeral service was Tuesday, November 22 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont with burial following in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Born in Longview, he was a United States Air Force veteran and was a former Deputy of Hardin County. He retired from AT&T with over 20 years service. Survivors include his children, Mona Berry and husband John andAllen Huddleston and wife Pattie; sisters, Jessie Lowell, Verna Arthur and Pat Carre; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

James Winfred Burnham, 63, of Lumberton, passed away Friday, November 18, 2016. A memorial will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, December 3 at the home of his brother, Gary in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Survivors include his daughter, Jannah Mersiovsky and husband Kurt of Jarrell; brothers, Paul Randall Burnham and wife Debbie of Benndale, Mississippi and Gary Dean Burnham and wife Tammie of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; sisters, Mary Ellen Taylor and husband M.C. of Petal, Mississippi and Joan Bowlin of Mt. Olive, Mississippi; and three grandchildren.

Joseph Lovell

Joseph Harold Lovell, 60, of Silsbee, passed away Friday, November 18, 2016 at his home. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 23 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following in Antioch Cemetery in Buna. A native of Carthage and a longtime resident of Silsbee, he worked in the oilfield. Survivors include son, Austin Lovell of Warren; daughter, Ashley Martindale and husband Wynn of Kirbyville; and brothers, Michael Lovell of Mauriceville and Kenneth Lovell of Silsbee; and one grandchild.

Graveside service for Diane Richardson Parks, 55, of Bryan, formerly of Silsbee will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Hardin Memorial Park in Silsbee under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home, also in Silsbee. Visitation was from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 22 at Pinecrest Baptist Church in Silsbee.

Jewell (Womack) Knight 1931 – 2016

Jewell Knight, loving daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt, went home to be with the Lord on November 17, 2016, at the age of 85. She was married to Truman B. Knight, Jr. of Port Arthur for 43 years. She was born September 23, 1931 in Silsbee, Texas. Through the years, she worked as a dental assistant, office assistant, as well as, other jobs in the Silsbee area. Jewell was a compassionate, giving person and had a special love for her family and friends. She always had a smile on her face and will probably be remembered for her infectious laugh. She was also, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Buna, Texas.

Ruth Evelyn Laurent, 92, of Silsbee, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care in Silsbee. Funeral service was Sunday, November 20 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following in Cunningham Cemetery, also in Silsbee. Born in Village Mills, she was a longtime resident of Silsbee. Survivors include sons, Richard Elmer Laurent Sr. and wife Kim, Herman Jackson Laurent Sr., and Chester Curtis Laurent and wife Bobbie, all of Spurger and Tommy Lynn Laurent and wife Kathy of Silsbee; daughters, Sarah Richardson and husband William Lee of Mauriceville, Rose Lee York and husband Eddie of Silsbee, Shirley Darlene Laurent of Silsbee, Mary Dryden and husband L.C. of Kountze, Mae Page of Granite Shoals and Shirley Foster of Silsbee; brother, William “Budro” Crain of Dam B; 36 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
