Bullet Shawver

Charles Graydon “Bullet” Shawver, age 54, died at his residence October 10, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of Hardin County, Texas. Bullet was an electrician and a member of IBEW479. Survivors include his mother, Sadie Elarton Shawver; brothers, Karl D. Shawver and his wife Gail, Adrian E. Shawver and his wife Rosario; nieces,Michelle Fretz, Flor Shawver, Karen Shawver, Kailey Shawver, Hannah Shawver and nephew, Kade A. Shawver. He is preceded in death by his beloved sister, Sandra Louise Shawver; father, Homer Charles Shawver; grandparents, Charles H. and Ollie Vickers Robinson Shawver; Douglas W. and CorneliaWilliams Elarton. Amemorial service for Bullet will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Broussasrd’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, Texas. Clara Eunice Stutsman, 95, of Kountze, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014. Funeral service was Friday, Sept. 26 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Kountze with burial following in Daniels Cemetery, also in Kountze. Eunice started S.C.A.T. (Senior Citizens All Together). Survivors include her brother, Otis Smallwood of Dumas, Arkansas; nieces and nephews, Violet Brown and husband Roy Gene, David Smallwood and wife Missy, Leighann Lawrence and husband Eric and Beverly Williamson, all of Kountze and Betty and husband Bill Perdue of Iowa, Louisiana.

Funeral services for Jobaha Lynn Sanchez, 19, of Silsbee were at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation was from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Miss Sanchez died September 30, 2014 in Silsbee. Jobaha, born in Lafayette, Louisiana, was a long time resident of Silsbee and a graduate of Silsbee High School. She was employed by S.S.C. Miss Sanchez is preceded in death by her grandparents,Antonia and Eusebio Sanchez and Lewis Coudrain. She is survived by her parents, Jerry Coudrain and Diana Sanchez of Silsbee; grandparents, Ollie Coudrain of Silsbee, Nelda & Calvin Guidroz of Saratoga and Ena McClendon of Louisiana; great grandmother, Mary Lou Puente of Saratoga; brother, Calvin Parrish and wife Lacey of Saratoga; sister, Mariella Parrish of Silsbee; and fiance', Chase Spencer of Silsbee.

Rev. Chuck Willis

Funeral services for Reverend Charles E. 'Chuck' Willis Sr. 79, of Silsbee were at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Knupple Cemetery. Visitation began Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mr. Willis died suddenly October 2, 2014 in Silsbee. Brother Chuck was a lifelong resident of Silsbee. He was a retired minister, but still preached on occasion when needed. He was employed as an assistant funeral director at Farmer Funeral Home for 15 years. He was a special person and was loved by all who knew him. Brother Chuck will be greatly missed. Mr. Willis is preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Millie BylsmaWillis. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Coleta Murphy Willis; sons, Chip Willis and wife Melody of Clermont FL, Jim Willis and wife Pam of Silsbee, and DavidWillis of Silsbee; daughter, Rita Garcia and husband Shawn of Silsbee; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
