Majorie Joines

Majorie Louise Joines, 80, of Lumberton, died Saturday, March 8, 2014. Funeral service was Tuesday, March 11 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton withWayneMonk officiating. She had lived in Lumberton 43 years and she and her husband owned and operated their family business, Allied Fence Company, for most of their working lives. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Raymond Guy Joines; son, Frankie Guy Joines and wife Terry of Kountze; daughters, Joni Silcox and Toni Parker, both of Lumberton; and six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A native of Granite City, Illinois and a longtime resident of Silsbee, he was aMerchant Seaman for Crawley Marine Service. He was also a United States Marine Corp veteran. Richard Haire

Richard Dale Haire, 41, of Vidor, died Monday, March 10, 2014 in Beaumont. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, March 14 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and again from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A native of Galveston, he had lived in Vidor for the last two years. He was a heavy equipment operator by trade. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Roger Dale and Robin Haire of Kountze; mother, Glenda Johnson of Michigan; son, Roger Thomas Haire of Beaumont; daughter, Angel Haire of Beaumont; and stepbrothers, Michael Perry and Chris Perry, both of Michigan.
